Iwao Takamoto, was the designer of Scooby-Doo and 85% of the Hanna-Barbera characters watched by countless millions of adults and children the world over. To finally "get to know" the man who created memories for not only me, but now my daughter was an amazing experience. The talent possessed by this man was simply amazing. Leslie Stern tells the story of her step-father's influence on her and heartwarming stories which keeps "the Legend" that is Iwao living forever (Great Title).The treat in this book is not just the rarely seen or never seen before drawings by Iwao but the authors often emotional recollections and humorous anecdotes.A MUST read if you want to get to know the man who brought so much joy to children all over the world!
