Every street in the metro area and surrounding suburbs is detailed within this guide. Its comprehensive detail and ease of use make it a real help. This book provides a very clear, convincing and grounded explanation of the Mind Body Syndrome and is the best book I have found in this genre if you are looking for step-by-step guidance to overcome pain. Although the e-book format doesn't allow you to fill out the workbook pages, I still prefer the Kindle format and I can easily use a journal or separate pages to work through the exercises.

This is a terrible book to have as an ebook. It requires several worksheets which are impossible to do unless you pull out a pen and paper and write a lot. Plus, it is too hard to go back to pages where this information is on future exercises. Do not buy as an ebook.

It was a fast & easy purchasing. Also, able to read immediately! Very pleased!

Tyler Johnson Was Here, by Jay Coles

From School Library Journal

Gr 9 Up—Narrated by 17-year-old Marvin Johnson, this novel gives readers a glimpse into the life and the tragic death of his identical twin Tyler. Their family is headed by a single mother separated from her husband due to incarceration. It's senior year and for the first time, the twins are growing apart. Tyler now prefers his friends over all else, forsaking academics and his curfew. Marvin, on the other hand, is questioning the change and feeling an imbalance in the relationship. Gang violence erupts in a party both twins attend and Tyler ends up dead from an unprovoked altercation with a police officer. Marvin, who was being scouted by MIT for a college scholarship, begins a downward spiral that could only end with the clearing of his deceased brother's name as a wrongdoer. Social media, as in real life, plays a vital part in the advocacy for victims' rights at the hands of police, as well as for the efforts needed to organize public protests and vigils in memory of Tyler. Tensions arise in the community between proponents of the Black Lives Matter movement and those who push for "All Lives Matter" in response. This well-written, fast-paced story eloquently addresses how to grieve, plan, and participate in the burial of a loved one, a sensitive subject for all youth. It also succeeds in not avoiding tough subjects, such as systemic racism. VERDICT For fans of All-American Boys and The Hate U Give, this emotion-filled title is a standout debut.—Sabrina Carnesi, Crittenden Middle School, Newport News, VA

4.6 stars, this book is about twins Tyler and Marvin Johnson are twin brothers living their daily life that is until his brother Tyler disappears from a party. Tyler quickly goes from a boy who disappeared one night. To another black boy who was murdered at the hands of police brutality. I knew as soon as I read the synopsis for this book that I had to read it and I don't regret one second of reading it. This book is so important for the black lives matter movement and so important for educating people on what it's like to to be black in America. This book was heart breaking. At times I had to put it down and collect myself because of how much it affected me. I couldn't take the raw emotion Marvin and his mother had. I couldn't take the lack of emotion from the police. I just couldn't take any of it.....but this is what's happening in America. Black men are being shot and it's my job as a black woman to educate herself on what that could be like for the families who have lost their children, father's, mothers, brothers. I just want to thank Jay Coles for putting this kind of story out there. It was brave, it was raw and it was everything I specifically needed to experience. This book has to be experienced. It's also always important to remember that when these young men lose their life they're more than a hashtag. They're just Tyler Johnson or Emmet Till or Mike Brown. They're just people.

A very culturally relevant novel about grief in the context of police brutality and racism. Coles has a lot to say about what it means to be black. He takes a very "stereotypical" situation -- the absent father, the desperation to survive the ghetto -- and writes it with some real heartHowever, I had a bit of a hard time connecting with this book, and I don't think it was the fault of the author, unless he was also in charge of writing the synopsis. The video mentioned in the synopsis does show up until, I think 2/3 through the book. I wish I hadn't known what happened to Tyler before I started reading the novel. It kept me from hoping and worrying with Marvin, the main character, because I already knew. I sympathized with him, sure, but my connection to him wasn't as deep as it might have been. Also, I thought the synopsis misrepresented Mrs. Johnson's grieving process. That being said, I still cried during the scene where Tyler's fate was confirmed. There were a few other scenes that left me in tears. And during a scene between Marvin and Faith. Especially in the last half, there are some very tender scenes that really got to me, both in sad ways and happy ways. The main cast was well-fleshed out, with those tender scenes showcasing Coles ability to write emotionally. The only character that felt inauthentic to me was Principal Dodson. There was something about him that was off for me. I'm not saying there aren't African Americans who have internalized and regurgitated racism, but his came off a little too strong, I think. You never find out which way the trial goes, which is a disappointment, but almost a mercy, because it leaves room for hope. Marvin's narration states that it doesn't matter, because he knows the truth of the situation and who Tyler was, which I think is both sad and inspiring. There's probably a reason I don't read very much contemporary fiction.I really appreciated and loved Marvin, not only because of who he is, but because of what his character represents (from a sociological angle). His identity is very much tied up in being the "good" black kid, the one who's going to get out of the ghetto, who's smart, who is "a credit to his race" (I don't remember if anyone actually says that in the novel, but that was the vibe I was getting from a lot of the characters). Because of that identity, he deals with these expectations, both from people thinking he's "soft" and basically white (like Johntae) and from those who think he's the perfect diversity candidate (like the recruiter for MIT). People expectations can shape your self-image, as a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy, and this novel shows that very well.Last comment is that Coles writes some very beautiful prose. I made several comments on my Kindle app at places where I thought he used just an amazing description, metaphor, or simile. Would recommend and would read another novel of his.

I am torn on this book, I like the idea and the writing is beautiful (very fluid and descriptive) but it just didn't hold my classes attention like some other novels we read this year. It seems like it takes a long time to get going and there are a lot of chapters that just meander.....it is like the story doesn't get started until close to the end. I like the relationship between the brothers and the realistic character descriptions. My students really liked Ivy and G-mo and the part they played in the story. Solid story, but a little too much exposition for my students

This beautifully written book explores racism and family extremely well. My original criticism was some of the police interaction scenes felt slightly over dramatized but after recent events I realized I was ignorant and those scenes are very real. I loved the writing style, specifically imagery. It's the best I've ever seen. Character development was great and well executed. Overall this book is great and needed.

This book is much different than the blurb would have you think. The title, though, is very apt. Marvin goes so quickly from dreaming about MIT and "A Different World" to grieving and finding his place in a world that pushes him down. Jay Coles's writing has a certain softness to it, even while the pain in the page is real and cruel. Looking forward to more from this author.CWs: police brutality, racism, sibling death

“Sometimes people need reminding that they matter, more than they need reminding that they’re alive, because sometimes being alive just isn’t enough.”I could not put this book down—devoured it in two days, spending the latter half mostly in tears. Coles has a way of slipping these lines into his prose that are just so poignant and visual, it’s like a punch to the chest.“I tell myself that I love this skin, that I’ve always loved my blackness, that if the world doesn’t love me, I will love myself for the both of us.”A stunning, raw, heart-wrenching debut.

I rounded this up to a 4 because it definitely deserves it. This book like so many others is so so important especially in this messed up world we live inI enjoyed this book for sure and highly recommend it but I just didn't click with the writing style of it and it took me out of the story quite a bit. I did really love the friendship in this book how it got stronger and stayed true even when the main character was pushing them away. I wish we would've got to see more with his mom thoOverall this is definitely a book I think everyone should read and will always be recommending it

The author states in his acknowledgements that "I've personally executed the transactions and functionality presented in this book to ensure that it all work in the new SAP S/4HANA environment". You've got to give him credit that he tried; too many other technical authors don't even bother.I found no major problems with the book, until Chapter 11 SAP BPC for SAP S/4HANA Finance. The author always liberally illustrates his text with screen prints, and I have no doubt that he indeed got everything to work as advertised. Here's the problem: You won't. You simply can not implement BPC for S4HANA following his instructions. I've tried twice now and have encountered too many dead ends. Things really deteriorate with section 11.5 SAP Business Objects BI Content Bundle.I am using a 1709 Best Practices system and am unable to replicate or use BPC with HANA following the author's explanations. Perhaps he'll get it right in the 3rd edition. We can always hope

As Francis Bacon said , "Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested"This book certainly needs to be chewed and digested!!The beauty of the book lies in how it simply puts forth the details in a very easy to read manner. The Customizing, New Features, Impacts, Reference to sapnotes , Benefits and Project Plan are all organized in a logical sequence.A must read for every SAP Professional!!!

Review

Praise for Elizabeth Rush’s Rising “Deeply felt . . . Rush captures nature with precise words that almost amount to poetry; the book is further enriched with illuminating detail from the lives of those people inhabiting today’s coasts. . . . Elegies like this one will play an important role as people continue to confront a transformed, perhaps unnatural world.”―New York Times “The book on climate change and sea levels that was missing. Rush travels from vanishing shorelines in New England to hurting fishing communities to retracting islands and, with empathy and elegance, conveys what it means to lose a world in slow motion. Picture the working-class empathy of Studs Terkel paired with the heartbreak of a poet.”―Chicago Tribune (Best Ten Books of 2018) “Sea level rise is not some distant problem in a distant place. As Rush shows, it’s affecting real people right now. Rising is a compelling piece of reporting, by turns bleak and beautiful.”―Elizabeth Kolbert, author of The Sixth Extinction “A smart, lyrical testament to change and uncertainty. Rush listens to both the vulnerability and resiliency of communities facing the shifting shorelines of extreme weather. These are the stories we need to hear in order to survive and live more consciously with a sharp-edged determination to face our future with empathy and resolve. Rising illustrates how climate change is a relentless truth and real people in real places know it by name, storm by flood by fire.”―Terry Tempest Williams, author of The Hour of Land “Lovely and thoughtful . . . Reading [Rush's] book is like learning ecology at the feet of a poet.”―Minneapolis Star Tribune “With tasteful and dynamic didactic language, [Rush] informs the layperson about the imminent threat of climate change while grounding the massive scope of the problem on heartfelt human and interspecies connection.”―Los Angeles Review of Books “Moving and urgent . . . Rush’s Rising is a revelation. . . . The project of Rising, like the project of Matthew Desmond’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City, is to draw attention to ongoing material crisis through the stories of the people who are surviving within it. Rising is a clarion call. The idea isn’t merely that climate change is here and scary. There’s a more important message: There are people out here who need help.”―Pacific Standard “Timely and urgent, this report on how climate change is affecting American shorelines provides critical evidence of the devastating changes already faced by some coastal dwellers. Rush masterfully presents firsthand accounts of these changes, acknowledging her own privileged position in comparison to most of her interviewees and the heavy responsibility involved in relaying their experiences to an audience. . . . In the midst of a highly politicized debate on climate change and how to deal with its far-reaching effects, this book deserves to be read by all.”―Publishers Weekly (starred review) “Rush traffics only sparingly in doomsday statistics. For Rush, the devastating impact of rising sea levels, especially on vulnerable communities, is more compellingly found in the details. From Louisiana to Staten Island to the Bay Area, Rush’s lyrical, deeply reported essays challenge us to accept the uncertainty of our present climate and to consider more just ways of dealing with the immense challenges ahead.”―The Nation “A strange new kind of travel guide, Rising is a journey through the turbulent forefront of climate change―the coastal communities, rich and poor, human and nonhuman, that are already feeling the first effects of our rising seas. Rush sets out to put a face on a subject that is all too often depicted in abstract graphs and statistics, and gives us a group portrait of the men and women who are fighting, fleeing, and adapting to the terrible disappearance of the land they live on.”―Charles C. Mann, author of 1491 “In this moving and memorable book, the voice of the author mingles with the voices of people in coastal communities all over the country―Maine, Rhode Island, Louisiana, Florida, New York, California―to offer testimony: The water is rising. Some have already lost their homes; some will lose them soon; others are studying or watching or grieving. Though they haven’t met each other, their commonality forms a circle into which we are inexorably pulled by Rush’s powerful words.”―Anne Fadiman, author of The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down “A poetic meditation on the nature of change, on how people can make peace with a changing world and our agency in it . . . Rising [offers] pulsing, gleaming prose and a stubborn search for, if not hope, then peace in the face of disaster.”―Shelf Awareness “Rush rises. She brings stories out of the woodwork, revealing the true effect of sea level rise on the land, on the sea, and on people. She writes from a generation not asking if climate change is true or not, but how to live in the face of it, how we adapt, lose, or gain. Logging the finest, most intuitive details, Rush holds her subjects in tight focus, each coastline conveyed down to its grains of sand and inflections in the tides. Her writing is present among relocations and dying swamps, conveying the intricate nature of sea level rise. How do levees work? What does saltwater do to a freshwater aquifer? What voices are coming out of the wrack line, and what does it sound like as a coast is rewritten? Rush makes real a monolithic subject often too large to digest. You can taste the coming salt.”―Craig Childs, author of The Animal Dialogues: Uncommon Encounters in the Wild “Rising is not just a book about rising sea levels and the lost habitats and homes―it’s also a moving rumination on the rise of women as investigative reporters, the rise of tangible solutions, the rise of human endeavor and flexibility. It is also a rising of unheard voices; one of the eloquent beauties of this book is the inclusion of various stories, Studs Terkel-style, of those affected most by our changing shoreline. A beautiful and tender account of what’s happening―and what’s in store.”―Laura Pritchett, author of Stars Go Blue “From the edges of our continent, where sea level rise is already well underway, Rush lays bare the often hidden effects of climate change―lost homes, lost habitats, broken family ties, chronic fear and worry―and shows us how those effects ripple toward us all. With elegance, intelligence, and guts, she guides us through one of the most frightening and complex issues of our time.”―Michelle Nijhuis

This book will change you. Whether that is a good reason to read it is up to you, which, is a tragedy of sorts. I am an anomaly who reads about 100 books a year. I rarely have read such a transfixing blend of prose, poetry and scientific exploration in one volume. The author seems to be a rare creature with the heart of a mystic, the eye of a scientist, and this mission of a farmer whose crop is sentience. “How aware can you be?” is an open-ended question. How aware you wish to be is a primary thesis of the book. In a similar way to James Joyce’s “ULYSSES,” the author invites you to see the multiplicity of layers in who we are, what the world is, and how we are united. There is of course a “good news/bad news” aspect to this. In becoming aware of how we are recklessly, myopically changing the planet, we risk becoming aware that this is a type of self-destruction, and who wants to admit to that? The author however is not a screeching preacher, nor a cooing “for-profit-prophet” who feels rhizomes should get the right to vote. I fear creatures like the author are as endangered as the other life forms at risk in her narrative. To the extent spiritual traditions convey wisdom, one thing is for sure: most people dislike true prophets; those whose very existence is a message. This author realizes we can never change another without changing ourselves. She renders herself vulnerable in the text but, not for the point of biography, rather for the larger point that what happens to her happens in an ecosystem in which we are all living organisms; Those of us with any semblance of sentience carry an obligation – to care for the fragile planet of which we are part as well as each other. This is the mystical take-away. I was “happier” prior to reading the book; now I feel I may have a chance at living with some integrity if I allow myself to be changed to action. Resourceful action in my sphere of influence. As I noted, this book will change you and I hope as many people as possible risk the change by reading it. Time, to the extent it is real, is running out.

A splendid book, even though I was not expecting all of the author's personal thoughts, reflections, and ideas. Also, I did not appreciate a few for them. Nevertheless, I could not stop reading until the wee small hours on the first night, and finished it in the wee small hours of the second night. Tonight has been spent googling umpteen scientific websites about melt water pulses. I have read quite a few science and climate books, but not many have really struck home (Central Florida) as this one has. Keep it up Ms. Rush, and I will keep reading. Once Florida is underwater I will try the Cascades in Oregon, simply because I would like to repeat a few of your experiences there.

Most of the reviews here already note how beautifully written this book is, but it should be said again anyway: Elizabeth Rush can flat out w-r-i-t-e. Rising locates profound and hitherto overlooked intersections of nature, science, and humanity, then explores them in prose that is fluid, evocative, and frequently gorgeous. It is sad without being bleak or maudlin, informative without being overwhelming or mechanical. She has a way of making complexities add together into something sublime instead of letting them pile up into lists of facts.Rising brings the reader into the liminal world of coasts and marshes by way of the real life characters who inhabit them. There are several times where my initial reaction to a passage was confusion, but, like a good novel, it always pulls you through. Later passages explaining, sometimes almost in passing, the earlier ones, letting the whole picture come into focus at once. This is the most humane climate book I've ever read and I can't recommend it enough. By the end, I wanted it to keep going.

The writing is exceptional. It more a map of personal discovery about the symptoms of climate change, as it doesn't really dive into the hard science. A very accessible read on a very challenging issue.

So much information, well researched and personalized with in-depth portraits of the impact and consequences of the ever increasing number of devastating storms. Connections to historical climate patterns, impacts of human infrastructure ( or lack thereof) are explained and illustrated through stories and conversations with people in many US coastal communities. Elizabeth ‘s science is impeccable, her personal and emotional reflections are deeply thought provoking. A very special read!

Well done, anecdotal story of climate change as it’s affecting people living along our coastal areas. Carefully written in a poetic style, it draws a conclusion that i’ve seen from other sources: we need to retreat from the tidal areas because this is too much for technology to solve.

Rising combines science and the environment while adding the personal narratives of people affected by climate change. The scientists interviewed discussed what they are seeing and how they are performing research to understand and to mitigate the effects of climate change.

Stories like these are becoming all to common, yet we are ignoring what's right in front of us. We shirk our responsibilities to the biosphere at our peril. These stories help us connect the abstract with the reality of our day to day lives and hopefully will raise awareness and trigger empathy. It is not a question of climate change being real, but how will we deal with the overwhelming challenges that we will soon face en masse.

About the Author

Eric V. Anslyn received his PhD in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology under the direction of Robert Grubbs. After completing post-doctoral work with Ronald Breslow at Columbia University, he joined the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin, where he became a Full Professor in 1999. He currently holds four patents and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Presidential Young Investigator, the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow, the Searle Scholar, the Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award, and the Jean Holloway Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is also the Associate Editor for the Journal of the American Chemical Society and serves on the editorial boards of Supramolecular Chemistry and the Journal of Supramolecular Chemistry. His primary research is in physical organic chemistry and bioorganic chemistry, with specific interests in catalysts for phosphoryl and glycosyl transfers, receptors for carbohydrates and enolates, single and multi-analyte sensors – the development of an electronic tongue, and synthesis of polymeric molecules that exhibit unique abiotic secondary structure. Dennis A. Dougherty received a PhD from Princeton with Kurt Mislow, followed by a year of postdoctoral study with Jerome Berson at Yale. In 1979 he joined the faculty at the California Institute of Technology, where he is now George Grant Hoag Professor of Chemistry. Dougherty's extensive research interests have taken him to many fronts, but he is perhaps best known for development of the cation- interaction, a novel but potent noncovalent binding interaction. More recently, he has addressed molecular neurobiology, developing the in vivo nonsense suppression method for unnatural amino acid incorporation into proteins expressed in living cells. This powerful new tool enables “physical organic chemistry on the brain” - chemical-scale studies of the molecules of memory, thought, and sensory perception and the targets of treatments for Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, learning and attention deficits, and drug addiction. His group is now working on extensive experimental and computational studies of the bacterial mechanosensitive channels MscL and MscS, building off the crystal structures of these channels recently reported by the Rees group at Caltech.

#606,934 in Books (See Top 100 in Books)

I bought this for a graduate level physical organic chemistry course, but most of the material will be accessible to a Junior/Senior undergrad majoring in a relevant subject. The book begins with molecular orbital theory. It gives you a foundation for how to build simple molecular orbitals, and then how to mix simple molecular orbitals to generate the orbitals for more complex molecules. This is explained using intuition and visualizations rather than math. In fact, the book is surprising non-mathematical for a physical chemistry book. Acid-Base chemistry, stereochemistry, and stability are studying through the molecular orbital picture. The middle chapters are about reactivity, kinetics, and mechanisms. The reactivity and mechanisms emphasize frontier orbital interactions, while the kinetics sections allow you to develop an intuitive understanding of potential landscapes under different scenarios. The final chapters are in electronic structure. Computational methods are introduced for how to perform QM calculations, there is some photochemistry and electronic materials. While great introductions, if you are more interested in the computational aspects or mathematical derivations you will need to look somewhere else.I recommend this to anyone who wants to achieve an intuitive understanding of why molecules behave as they do, rather than just accepting dogmas from sophomore organic chemistry. If you have taken sophomore organic chemistry you will be able to understand most of this, and with physical chemistry you should have no trouble understanding the material.

I bought this book after my first semester of organic chemistry because I loved whenever my professor would go into more intricate and subtle details of reaction mechanisms; I was in over my head for 1 semester of experience, but returning after my second semester made understanding much easier.First 3 chapters / chapter 7 + 8 were really good for a fairly comprehensive overview of what effects / thermodynamic consequences matter. However, it's definitely readable without having taken P-chem, you just might not be able to do any calculations / work any problems. Chapter 10 + 11 is where the organic reactions are (about 150 pages!). And at the end, for anyone doing computational chemistry / how electronic structure theories are built, it does an AMAZING job of walking through the very very basics and where each advancement was made / assumptions that helped lead to them.Overall, even with material that I haven't encountered at all, I was still able to follow along and understand the general ideas. This book is incredibly well written, and I 100% recommend it to anyone wanting to learn some more 'real world' organic chemistry. I've bought more expensive books that have helped me much much less than one.

I have been a professional chemist for more than 30 years. This book is probably the best on physical organic chemistry that I have ever come across. The book is over 1000 pages in length. I read the book from cover to cover. There is not a single chapter that is boring. The book covers a wide range of topics in physical organic chemistry. These topics include molecular structures, stereochemistry, conformational analysis, molecular recognition and supramolecular chemistry, acid and base chemistry, thermodynamics, kinetics and mechanism, organometallic chemistry, polymers, organic electronic theory, pericyclic reactions, photochemistry and organic materials. The treatment of each topics is well beyond elementary level. It is the intent of the authors that the book will be able to provide the necessary background for reading current research literature. Excercises are provided at the end of each chapter. The problems in the Excercises Section are interesting and challenging. I strongly encourage any graduate student to attempt these problems. Many interesting examples are given throughout each chapter. To illustrate, here is an interesting example given in the chapter of "Advanced Concepts in Electronic Structural Theory". Using the simple Huckel molecular orbital analysis, the two molecules cyclobutadiene (CBD) and trimethylenemethane (TMM) are known to have the same molecular orbital pattern for their pi electrons. In other words, these two molecules have one bonding orbital, two degenerate non-bonding orbitals and one anti-bonding orbital. Both are 4-electron systems. We therefore expect that there will be two unpaired parallel spin electrons in the degenerate non-bonding orbitals. Both molecules would have a triplet ground state. However, more advanced analysis shows that the spin preferences of the two systems are different. CBD is expected to exist as a singlet ground state while TMM is expected to exist as a triplet state. The authors provide an extremely clear explanation for such an analysis. In the case of CBD, the two non-bonding orbitals are disjoint. Two molecular orbitals are said to be disjoint when there are no atoms in common in their LCAO's. Consequently, the exchange integral of the two electrons in the two non-bonding orbitals are zero. When electron correlation is incorporated into the analysis, CBD is found have a singlet ground state with a rectangular structure, instead of a perfect square, of alternate double and single bond. This is sometimes known as pseudo Jahn-Teller distortion. In the case of TMM, the non-bonding orbitals are non-disjoint. The exchange integral consequently is non-zero and a triplet ground state is preferred. This concept of spin preference is used to explain one of the strategies used in the synthesis of magnetic organic material. Examples of applications of physical organic chemistry principles to biological systems and technologies (such as liquid crystal) are also found throughout the book.Beyond any doubts, this book is going to be the standard text for graduate students in organic chemistry for many years to come. If after reading this book and your interest in physical organic chemistry is not aroused, I do not believe that I will be able to find you a more interesting book on physical organic chemistry. The only criticism that I want to make is that I wish the authors would cover more on density functional theory. This part of theoretical chemistry is fast becoming more and more popular in current research. I also hope that the authors will update the book frequently.

I first heard of this book from an interview with one of my organic chemistry Professors, who chose this book when asked what one book he would take to a deserted island. I personally love this book because I loved learning about how the introductory mechanisms learned in organic chemistry are vastly oversimplified, and there is really much more to the picture. Comes with a great appendix in the back with a great explanation of introductory quantum mechanics, with a focus on ab initio methods. ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE TEXTBOOK - Enthusiastic Chemistry Student.

Baisc, but useful at high school level.

Great price and it works for me.

Accomplishes what I desired-a thesaurus source.

Very nice thesaurus with one page for each key word and lots of pictures -- great teaching tool. I looked at lots of thesauruses before picking this great choice.

I write a lot of Grad papers and use a thesaurus to help with wording. My current one I had since I was in the military back in 00, so it was 13 years old. I decided I need a new one and purchased this one. It is not my favorite but it works. It is a little confusing finding the words due to how they are arranged in here. It was printed in 2010 but not as good as my old one but usuable!

This Oxford Paperback Thesaurus is a very good book. The difinition is great and I would recommend this book to my friends.

Meet my needs

The book arrived quickly, but does not have every word in it, but it is a help for my crosswords,
